Recently, Jenette McCurdy published a book called "I'm Glad My Mom Died" sharing her life story on the set of the popular Nickleloden comedy TV show, iCarly and the horrors she went through. I can't talk about the book as a whole since I don't have a copy to read but already the internet have been sharing huge parts of the book and the uproar it caused about Nickleloden allowing a known predator to keep working for them. What also got my blood boiling beside the sexual predator Nickeloden allowed to work with kids is the backlash McCurdy is getting about the part in her book where she talked about how happy she was that her mom is dead and people screaming about how you should love your parents even if they're abusive control freaks with no concern for their kids and putting their needs first.
